The Camden County Freedom Festival is returning to the Camden Waterfront, and bringing fireworks with it.
Officials announced Tuesday that the festival is set to start at 5 p.m. on the Fourth of July and will include concerts, a veterans tribute and a "world class" fireworks show over the Delaware River.
Along with the festival, officials announced a full schedule of events in county parks throughout the summer and into the fall is now available on the county website.
"We expect over 150,000 visitors to the Camden Waterfront this summer for events ranging from great entertainment like the Fourth of July Fireworks and Sunset Jazz Series to activities such as waterfront yoga and workout Wednesdays," said Freeholder Deputy Director Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Department of Special Events in a release. "My colleagues on the Freeholder Board and I know how much residents enjoy the outdoors, and we strive to continually improve Camden County's parks so that they provide maximum entertainment and fun for you and your family."
